An interesting fact learned was that Texas and Nebraska have some of the highest levels of Fluorosis in the United States. Lubbock, Texas in particular poses some unique challenges for the dentists for the area due to the well water primarily used in the area. This information is especially interesting to BEYOND, says Brooks, because we “can adjust our whitening protocols to any situation.” BEYOND International’s whitening product line makes individualized treatment a reality for many dentists who may not be aware that individual health issues can affect the end result.
According to their website, the goal of the Lone Star conference is to enhance knowledge of new techniques, services, and products so dentists can take it back to their practices.
