This Month: BEYOND® in the Online World

This inaugural edition of The BEYOND® Messenger is dedicated to all of BEYOND®’s new online projects. The Internet has become an important medium for global marketing, advertising, and sales, and BEYOND® is working hard to stay up-to-date on new trends and developments in this field.

Some highlights from this newsletter include:
  • Renovations to our websites in order to rank higher on search engines, generate more traffic flow, and promote our existing distributors.
  • Online branding strategies using blogs and online forums to promote our products and services.

Increase Traffic to YOUR Website

We are adding a section to our new websites that will show where all of our distributors and clients around the world are located. And we need your help in doing it!

If you want to have your company listed on our website, let us know. We are going to do a “hyperlink exchange” – meaning that we’ll put a link to your website on our site, if you do the same for us.

This will increase your ranking in online searches, thereby increasing traffic to your website and awareness of your company and the products and services that you offer.

BEYOND® Online Training

 

BEYOND® is offering free online training sessions for our teeth whitening systems to all interested parties. All you need is an Internet connection, a webcam, a microphone, and between 30-60 minutes of time to undergo our training. We will send you a small piece of software that will enable you to link into our training office and watch a live demonstration of the whitening treatment and ask our resident dentist all of your questions in real time. After you have completed the training, we will send you a certificate stating that you have undergone our training program.

We have created a MySpace page that will feature fun information about our company, the people who work at BEYOND®, as well as educating users about teeth whitening and our products. Q: Can I use the e-Bright Tooth Whitening Accelerator Home Edition to whiten false teeth?

- from Malaysia

A: No, you cannot use the e-Bright to whiten false teeth. Any hydrogen peroxide-based whitening product will not be able to whiten false teeth, composites, veneers, or crowns. Cosmetic tooth whitening is only effective on natural teeth.

Q: How long will the whitening gel remain effective after it is opened?

- from the U.S.

A: If you have extra gel left in the syringe after the treatment, simply squeeze out any excess air in the tube and store the syringe in the refrigerator. If stored properly, the gel will remain active for about a week.

Q: A customer came in with very grey teeth. She had rheumatic fever when she was young and the antibiotics that her doctor gave her caused the grey discolorations in her teeth. She also has two teeth that have nerve damage and are a darker grey than the surrounding teeth. Can she undergo the WhiteSpa treatment?

- from Australia

A: Yes, you can do the BEYOND® WhiteSpa treatment on her. She has tetracycline stains from the antibiotics that she took as a child. These stains are intrinsic, so they are a bit harder to remove. You will want to design an individual treatment plan for her and discuss her expectations for the treatment. I would recommend doing two, 20 minute treatments on the first day, and then having her come back the next day. On the second day, assess the difference between her darker teeth and the surrounding teeth. If the difference is obvious, you will want to do one 20 minute cycle with the gel just on those darker teeth. Then finish up with a final, 20 minute cycle for all teeth. Her teeth will now be whiter, but she may still want to make them whiter. She can do this by taking home an e-Bright and doing the full five treatment cycles. Another option is to come back in about a week (not more than two weeks later) and doing another full WhiteSpa treatment. She will probably want to continue coming in for regular maintenance to continue the whitening process. For a client with teeth stained by tetracycline, over time their teeth will reach a nice level of whiteness. However it will take a lot of time and effort. The end results though will make it worth it!
