Anodized aluminum allows instruments to be very lightweight, and the anodized surface provides a very hard non-stick surface - perfect for working with composite materials. The anodized surface also ensures there is no discoloration of the composite material during placement. Because of the surface bonding of the instruments, they are very strong, will not chip or crack, and can be cleaned and sterilized repeatedly without damage to the surface.

How can I clean the Impact Instruments?
Anodized aluminum instruments should be kept separate from other instruments during cleaning and sterilization. We recommend using an instrument-safe cleaning agent, prior to either a steam or dry sterilization. The instruments should not be ultrasonically cleaned.
